(updated 11/06/2024). This review of evidence for Sarah Jane Lofing is at the request of a concerned resident who saw this statement by Katie Lambson, admin of local FB platform for hate Kanab/Fredonia Rant & Rave.

Sarah & some who know her deny that she engages in hate. This review shows evidence for Sarah’s extremism and bigotry including: encouraging violence against protesters, praising anti-government action (public lands, public health & public schools), conspiracies (Plandemic, USA Destroyed 2021, welfare abuse), opposition to equity efforts (holidays/recognitions for women & black Americans, reparations, public assistance), and bigotry (transgender, masculinity, race, nationality, mental health, religion and liberal move-ins)

That evidence for Sarah Lofing is presented in different ways in the following three sections:

The checklist is the uniform tool used to determine Hatewatch placement. The list is based on criteria provided by the FBI, DHS, NSA, University of Chicago and arrests at the Capitol Insurrection. This checklist is completed after review of the evidence (see slideshow above) and before the list of evidence is generated.

March 9, 2021 Sarah emailed with a request to be removed from Hatewatch. Sarah was offered removal after April 30, 2021 if she ceased engagement in bigotry and/or extremism. See resources for Reforming Extremists on Hatewatch.

Rather than ceasing, Sarah continued to engage with

  • local FB extremist page “Kanab Patriots” Recruits and Radicalizes Facebook Extremists
  • “embracing” her inclusion on Hatewatch on her personal page
  • Supporting Kanab/Fredonia Rant & Rave’s celebration and continuance of serving as a platform for hate
  • Supporting the use of mental health slurs by friends along with their dismissal of bigotry/extremism & threats of lawsuit

I resided in the Kanab, Utah area from 2009 throughout 2020. I created KURW following the January 6, 2021 attempt by domestic extremists to stop the certification of the election which nearly a dozen Kanab area residents participated and were encouraged by the Kanab City Police Chief & fellow law enforcement. I resided most of my life in rural America and was raised in a large, far-right family. Studies show new trends in extremist characteristics, feelings of fear/anger/betrayal, an increase in social media recruitment and incitement, and radicalization as quickly as six months. Concerned residents of the area had collected evidence of public activity beginning with the six months of weekly Black Lives Matter and All Lives Matter and MAGA events in Kanab. That documentation, public posts on social media, contribution from community members and outside organizations were compiled to create KURW Hatewatch because I feel like that is the best way that I can address the call for awareness to the threat of extremism.
