This post is by special request for a review of evidence for Wendy Williams, owner of The Lily Pad Consign & Thrift Store and The Lily Pad Airbnb. It was updated 10/20/2024 at a second request. Two sections follow: (1) Google slides of evidence of bigotry & extremism engaged in publicly by Wendy, 19 slides and (2) Google slides of 61 others who supported her posts/comments of bigotry & extremism, 396 slides.

Wendy was presented on KURW Hatewatch from its beginning in March 2021. She rallied with the 89/89A “Patriot” group in counter protest to the Kanab March for George Floyd and subsequent Black Lives Matter & No Trump rallies. She expressed anger & hostility to anyone bashing Trump, supporting Black Lives Matter & public health measures during the pandemic. Her bigotry is mostly racial and trans-hate. Wendy supports conspiracy theories and denies bigotry/extremism by herself and others she knows, including her Red Level Hatewatch friends. She is a member of the Kanab Patriots and promotes Ammon Bundy’s anti-government People’s Rights Network.

Sixty one (61) neighbors supported Wendy’s posts/comments of bigotry and extremism. The most used platform is a local FB group Kanab/Fredonia Rant & Rave.

Of these supporters, 25 are Red Level Hatewatch for the volume & severity of their bigotry & extremism. Nearly half engage with local FB extremist page Kanab Patriots. Twenty one, 21, support the attack on the US Capitol with most of those supporting one or more of our Insurrectionists from Kanab Area. A breakdown of shared involvement/support with extremist groups, expressed ideology & professions follows in columns. TWENTY feared of a civil or revolutionary war in 2020-2021.

I resided in the Kanab, Utah area from 2009 throughout 2020. I created KURW following the January 6, 2021 attempt by domestic extremists to stop the certification of the election which nearly a dozen Kanab area residents participated and were encouraged by the Kanab City Police Chief & fellow law enforcement. I resided most of my life in rural America and was raised in a large, far-right family. Studies show new trends in extremist characteristics, feelings of fear/anger/betrayal, an increase in social media recruitment and incitement, and radicalization as quickly as six months. Concerned residents of the area had collected evidence of public activity beginning with the six months of weekly Black Lives Matter and All Lives Matter and MAGA events in Kanab. That documentation, public posts on social media, contribution from community members and outside organizations were compiled to create KURW Hatewatch because I feel like that is the best way that I can address the call for awareness to the threat of extremism.
